  • Created the Dr. Short "Pay it Forward Memorial Scholarship" with a donation from Past Rotarian, Dr. Short.
  • Annual Scare Crow Contest on Main Street.  Community Service
  • Groton Rotarians, community members and students raise $2970 to help Sri Lanka Rotary Clubs rebuild schools destroyed by the the 2004 Boxing Day Tsunami.
  • Groton Rotarians volounteer to go to Binghamton to help flood victims - 2006.  Community Service
  • Annual Geranium Sale Fund Raiser
  • The Great Sneaker Project (Groton Club took 2007-1st Place by donating more that 1200 pairs of sneakers) club was awarded a Paul Harris Fellow Award for this project.
  • Groton Rotary Club wins the 2008 - Rotary District 7170 "Community Service Award".
  • Donated $200 from the "Pay it Forward Fund" towards 2 Groton student's trip to China (2008).  Educational

  • Donated $1000 towards a "Shelter Box" with help from the GCS Honor Society students (2008).  Our shelter Box was sent to aid survivors of Hurricane Ike in the Turks and Caicos Islands.  International Service

  • Faciltated the McLean Flag Project to hang American flags through the Hamlet (2008).  Community Service

  • Route 222 "East Hill Cemetery" maintainence project with the Town of Groton (2008).  community Service

  • Several members painted the kitchen area of the Groton Historical Society (2008).  Community Service

  • KIVA Micro Loans.  International - Save the Children Project

  • Annual Decorating of the Groton Nursing Home for Christmas - Community Service Project

  • Money, mittens and socks for the Elementary School kids.  - Community Service Project

  • CORAfrica Water Well Project -2009-10 - $5000 raised with the help of the Endicott Rotary Club and presented 3/25/10 - Community Service Project

  • Route 38 - Veteran's Memorial Sign Project - 2010 - Community Service Project
